Maintenance Agreement

Maintenance agreements have no minimum term, involve no contractual commitment and are renewed annually.

We will inform you in good time about upcoming maintenance and discuss with you whether and to what extent the maintenance should be carried out.

Maintenance contract

Maintenance contracts are usually concluded for a term of five years. The warranty period is extended to cover this duration.

The exact scope and frequency can be tailored to your individual needs.

Hygiene check

As part of a maintenance contract, we automatically carry out a hygiene check when servicing an adiabatic humidifier.

Of course, even without an existing maintenance contract, you can request a hygiene check for other humidifiers at any time to assess the hygienic condition of your system.

Spare parts supply

Do you need a spare part urgently? We’re here to help straight away! We stock spare parts for all Condair models at our central warehouse in Munich and our new European warehouse near Hamburg.

If your order is received by 1.00 pm, the parts you need will be dispatched the same day and, if necessary, delivered the next day via express delivery.

How far from my AHU can I locate a steam humidifier?

How long will a humidifier installation take?

This varies by equipment type and site conditions. A single steam humidifier replacement will only take one or two days. Multiple gas humidifiers on a roof, or a large spray system in a warehouse, can take weeks, or even months for bigger projects. When an installation order is placed an Installation Project Manager will provide timescales, and on larger projects will supply a programme of works.

What services do I need to supply to the humidifier?

It varies by equipment type and model, but all humidifiers will require one or two mains power supplies, a mains water supply, local drainage, and control signals or BMS connections. The details will be specified in your quote or technical submittal provided by our Sales team, and an Installation Project Manager will confirm these requirements once the order is processed. Typically services ought to be supplied and terminate within 1m of the unit's location.

Will my unit be operational after the install?

Following installation, a humidifier or dehumidifier will need to be professionally commissioned for it to become operational. This process will validate the installation, optimise its operation for site-specific parameters, then test and verify the operation of the unit as part of the wider HVAC system. This can be carried out immediately after the installation, if the required services and control signals are available, or at a later date once all services are live.
