Condair humidifiers and dehumidifiers create the perfect humidity balance in greenhouses and horticulture. Prevent plant diseases, reduce energy use, and achieve uniform, healthy growth all year round.

Balanced plant growth

Precise humidity control keeps plants from drying or rotting, ensuring stronger growth and yield.

Energy-efficient climate

Smart humidifty control can save up to 55% on energy while maintaining stable growing conditions.

Prevent diseases

Controlled humidity prevents condensation and fungal growth, keeping crops healthy.

Greenhouses and horticulture humidity control

Complete humidity balance for every crop

Healthy plant growth depends on humidity that is neither too high nor too low. Condair systems automatically balance both — adding moisture when air is dry and removing it when condensation risks appear. This equilibrium supports photosynthesis, nutrient uptake, and transpiration. Whether growing flowers, vegetables or ornamentals, a stable humidity ensures faster rooting, uniform growth, and stronger plants with fewer losses. The result is a predictable, high-quality harvest throughout all seasons.

Create uniform growing conditions

Humidity differences between greenhouse zones often cause uneven plant development. Condair systems distribute humidity evenly through precise sensors and airflow management. The result: identical growth rates, consistent flowering, and even coloration across the entire crop area. Balanced air moisture also stabilizes temperature, improving efficiency for heating and cooling systems. Growers benefit from reliable yield forecasting and reduced crop losses — ideal for both small horticultural setups and large-scale operations.

Improve crop yield and quality

Too much humidity leads to condensation, creating the perfect environment for fungal diseases such as Botrytis, rust and powdery mildew. Condair dehumidifiers maintain humidity below the dew point, keeping leaves dry and surfaces clean. By combining gentle air circulation with energy-efficient moisture removal, Condair prevents mould and leaf damage while reducing pesticide use. A stable, dry climate means healthier crops, longer shelf life, and improved profitability

Protect plants from drying and stress

When greenhouse air becomes too dry, plants lose moisture rapidly through transpiration. This causes wilting, leaf burn and slower growth. Condair humidity control restores the right level of air moisture, ensuring plants remain hydrated and photosynthesis stays efficient. Balanced humidity keeps stomata open for CO₂ intake, improves nutrient absorption and enhances overall vitality. As a result, crops grow faster, recover better after pruning, and achieve higher yield quality with less energy and water loss.

Save energy with intelligent climate control

Traditional methods such as window ventilation or dry heating waste large amounts of energy. Condair systems maintain ideal humidity without excessive heating or cooling, saving up to 55% in energy use. Advanced control technology ensures dehumidifiers and humidifiers work together efficiently — adding or removing moisture only when necessary. Integrated heat recovery and low-maintenance design make Condair the most sustainable solution for modern greenhouse climate control

Sustainable and water-efficient technology

Condair systems not only optimise humidity — they also promote resource efficiency. By minimising the need for heating, dehumidification lowers greenhouse gas emissions and operational costs. Meanwhile, adiabatic humidifiers provide natural evaporative cooling, lowering ambient temperatures and energy costs. This closed-loop approach supports eco-friendly horticulture — combining crop productivity with resource efficiency. With robust design and minimal maintenance needs, Condair systems deliver long-term performance for a greener future in controlled environment agriculture.

The Green Planet Bio-Dome

The Green Planet is a bio-dome in Dubai offering visitors the chance to explore a striking variety of tropical plants, insects, reptiles, birds and mammals. This contained tropical rainforest is maintained at a constant 24-27°C with high humidity, ensuring an ideal climate for the flora and fauna. The building has been designed with sustainability in mind, having received the Leed (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification and is fully compliant with the Dubai Municipality green building regulations and specifications. The Condair's ML Flex high-pressure humidifiers installed are capable of introducing up to 720 litres of moisture per hour to maintain the desired internal humidity while also providing up to 490kW per hour of low energy evaporative cooling.

CH4 Global

CH4 Global uses aquaponic growing methods in their facility in the far south of SA (Arno Bay) to grow Asparagopsis seaweed. This seaweed is then used as part of a unique animal feed supplement to significantly reduce the amount of methane gas that enters the atmosphere from livestock. The combination of artificial lighting and the aquaponic reservoirs create a lot of water vapor to be released into the air. This means the facility reaches very high humidity levels which need to be controlled. The artificial lighting puts off a heat load that is already handled by current HVAC. To ensure we didn't add to this heat load we needed to ensure a dehumidifier was to not add unnecessary heat gains. Condair used its DC-N dehumidifier range for this application. These units fit the need of the customer as they have a remote condenser. This allows the supply air temperature to remain neutral. 2 units were supplied for production areas - DC270-N and DC350-N. These units will remove on average 600L per day for the customer.

ECS Botanics

ECS Botanics is a medicinal cannabis cultivator based in Victoria, Australia. Carefully-controlled environments are critical to ensure the highest possible quality and yield for the organisation. They required both humidification and dehumidification equipment to grow, dry and store their products in optimal conditions. For complete humidity control, a system including resistive steam humidifiers and condensing dehumidifiers was selected. This enables close control throughout the year and across variable conditions.
